Have you seen the commercial with the pilot and the iPhone?

It was inevitable that with the wealth of information the iPhone can provide, flying passengers would find another avenue to question the integrity of the air traffic system. Just don't take it out on the pilots.

Why "The Yellow Line"?

Have you ever had an idea pop into your head? It happens to me all the time. Usually though, I forget about it shortly therafter. My mind has a way of talking me out of making my ideas turn to reality, which usually involve too much money, and time. Two things I have too little of.

However, in early 2006, I saw one of those "Thin Blue Line" stickers that have popped up on so many cars nowadays, and thought about how symbols of solidarity have stood the test of time. Thinking…

Supplemental Flight Training

I am a private pilot VFR with fewer hours than I would like in the air, mostly on account of crappy New England weather and work/family responsibilities.
